A QR menu for hotels: room service without calling reception

Room service by phone means a busy reception line, spelling out dish names and the eternal “what do you have?”. A QR menu removes all of that: the guest sees the whole menu on the phone and orders on their own.

What it looks like for the guest

• There is a QR code in the room. The guest scans it with the camera — the page opens in the browser, no app.
• The menu is in the guest’s language: Uzbek, Russian, English and seven more.
• Every dish has a photo, a description and a price. Popular dishes are grouped, and each dish suggests what goes well with it.
• The order can be sent now or for a set time, to the room or to the restaurant.
• After sending, the guest sees the status: accepted, preparing, delivered.

What it looks like for the hotel

The order arrives in the hotel’s Telegram group: room number, dishes, total and buttons to change the status. If the kitchen has a printer, the kitchen ticket prints by itself as soon as the order is accepted.

QR codes can go not only in rooms but in common areas too — the pool, the sauna, an office. The order arrives with the place’s name.

More than a menu
